The Bottle-O – Gibson Retail Projects

Wollert, VIC

From concept through to completion, our team worked closely with Jay (owner) to design a space that is both highly functional and visually impactful — improving store flow and maximising every display opportunity.


Key highlights of the project include the custom display tasting table, full-length acrylic doors with a gas strut system, and our latest 450 and 750 deep cool room shelving — all designed to elevate both functionality and presentation.

We’re proud to share our latest project Glamaco Pimpapa, where collaboration and innovation came together to elevate their in-store experience. Glamaco is a hair and beauty product super store that we have been supplying to for many years and our client was looking to take things up a notch with a range of new initiatives to trial in their new store in Pimpama, QLD.

Locali by Romeo’s IGA – Gibson Retail Projects

Wynyard, NSW

An exciting new concept for the Romeo’s Group, Locali is a beautifully designed grocery store and foodhall. All fixtures were custom designed and detailed to ensure the durability of a high traffic environment while fitting in with the european aesthetic of the concept. Supply and installation of bakery, produce, supermarket shelving, feature ends, express checkouts, floral and bottleshop helped create a truly unique environment for shoppers.

Foodland – Gibson Retail Projects

Kilkenny, SA

Supply of equipment for locally and independantly owned supermarket brand Foodland. A contemporary look and feel with a custom colourway in our standard Phoenix range of supermarket equipement. Supply and install of produce, bakery, floral and feature ends.

Coles – Gibson Retail Projects

Camberwell, VIC

Supply and install of equipment in Coles Local Camberwell highlighting their sustainbility focused ethos. We supplied Bakery fixtures, Ecostore Refill Station end and an extensive Bulk Foods offer complete with scoop and weigh, coffee bean and olive oil refill station. We are fortunate to have great clients like Coles who are consistently challenging the Gibson team to deliver sustainable and innovative solutions to improve their customers shopping experience.

Ballarat East, VIC

An exciting new addition to the Ryan’s Group, the Ballarat East store showcases our Phoenix range of supermarket equipment. Supply of produce, bakery, liquor, supermarket shelving and feature ends.

Gibson Retail Projects – IGA White’s Grocers

Forest Glen, QLD

An exciting concept for White’s IGA, Forest Glen this store has a contemporary look and feel perfectly blended with design references to the history of the site. Supply and install of bakery, gifting, popcorn/treats cart, gourmet pantry and kitchenware.

The first full store showcasing our new range of Phoenix supermarket equipment. We supplied all front end equipment including checkouts, floral, confectionary shelving and service kiosk. Scope also included produce, bakery, liquor and supermarket shelving/feature ends. The outcome was a modern new store and great addition to the local community.

Working with the Swimart team who have a very hands on approach, we have developed a simple and modular fixture suite to help display their products consistently across their wide ranging fleet of stores.

Brisbane Flagship

4 level flagship requiring significant planning and resources from Gibson to complete. Multi-level escalator cladding designed and installed by Gibson. Rotating mannequin bases designed and installed by Gibson.

Surrey Hills, Melbourne

Coles Local brand new format for Coles saw Gibson head of design imbedded with Coles design team to design and prototype joinery.

Full store mock-up was built in Gibson Sydney factory prior to final design sign off.

Hurstville, Sydney

Finishes feature subway tiles, stained hardwood, canvas-covered fitting room doors and industrial steel finishes throughout.

Custom fabricated shopfront and large subway tiled bulkhead require accurate detailing by design team and execution on site.

Gibson Retail Projects – Romeos’ IGA

South Eveleigh, NSW

A high-end grocery store and marketplace concept in a heritage listed Locomotive Workshop. Fixtures throughout the store including fresh produce, bakery, cheese/sushi/butcher counters, bottle shop and florist area were all custom designed and manufactured by Gibson.

Brisbane

Multi-level flagship store with street level shopfront requiring roads to be closed to enable shopfront works to be completed. Dumb waiters installed for vertical stock movement between floors.

33m curved shopfront required millimetre perfect detailing, manufacturing and execution onsite. Large amount of services passing through the tenancy required painting out for exposed ceiling.

Gibson Retail Projects – Kids Stuff

Hand-painted wood features throughout as a design cue to old fashioned wooden toys. Cogs designed and manufactured by Gibson captures children’s imagination throughout the store. All joinery made in the Gibson factory.

Custom design mid-floor wall unit for new concept for client. A double sided shelving display with adjustable shelving was prototyped prior to manufacture to ensure client was happy with design and function.
