Steve is one of the longest standing employees of Gibson, commencing in 1993 as a young high school graduate. Steve started on the factory floor then worked his way up the corporate ladder to Senior Estimator/ Designer. More recently was promoted to Procurement Manager and in August 2019 was promoted to his current position of Operations Manager. Steve is a qualified draftsman and hardworking all-rounder who likes to share his vast knowledge, experience and assist fellow colleagues. Steve is across most aspects of the business, is an expert in the company MRP system and prides himself on his product knowledge, customer history, supplier relationships and ability to seek the right solution for Gibson Retail.

Steve has never shied away from any challenge placed in front of him and has always made it his duty to see each one through to the end. In the short time in his current position, Steve’s “make it happen” attitude has made significant changes to the streamlining of the procurement and quality assurance processes to make it a better experience for the internal and external customer. Steve is committed to providing a high standard that exceeds the client’s expectations.
